Nicolò Paganini: Trio per viola e violoncello: Streicher Duett

Nicolò Paganini’s Trio in G major for viola and cello – the autograph manuscript of which is preserved in the Biblioteca Casanatense in Rome – represents the only work of the Genoese composer expressly scored for these instruments. In addition to expanding Paganini’s treasured catalogue, its rediscovery could provide scholars with new insights into the famed virtuoso’s chamber music output.
