A wonderful set of songs inspired by West Country folk traditions for SATB with piano accompaniment provided for rehearsal only. Composer's note: 'These songs were originally collected by Rev. Mr. Baring-Gould sometime before the turn of the [20th] century and his manuscript is housed in Plymouth Library. I am indebted to Gordon Hitchcock in whose anthology 'Folk Songs of the West Country' I first discovered them'.
