John Rutter: All my hope on God is founded: Gemischter Chor mit Begleitung

In this well-known hymn, Herbert Howells sets a text by Robert Bridges to a hymn tune of his own composition, creating a hymn which has become a firm favourite all over the world. The first three verses do notstray from Howells' original setting, but John Rutter reharmonizes Verses 4 and 5 and adds a descant to the final verse, which was approved by Howells himself.
