Georg Friedrich Händel: Ode For The Birthday Of Queen Anne: (Arr. Friedrich Chrysander): Gemischter Chor mit Klavier/Orgel

Although presumably written to celebrate the Queen's birthday on 6 February, most probably in 1713, there is no record of the first performance of Handel's Ode. The nine movements contain much variety, but it is the firstmovement, 'Eternal source of light divine' where Handel prodces some of his most inspired writing.
