Bjørn Magne Nyhagen: Evening Song: Variables Blasorchester

“Evenign Song” is an evocative and simple evening song. The piece was written for a school band I conducted some years ago. The band had a very reduced instrumentation and I could not find a piece/arrangement I liked and could use for the band without editing much. Then I would try to make a piece myself, for a flexible instrumentation. If you want something other than "full throttle" as the last piece at the concert, Evening Song can be a good choice. The parts are written in a way so that also the youngest and least-experienced musicians can play this piece well. - Bjørn Magne Nyhagen -
