Drum Lesson is a very progressive method in four books written by Emmanuel Boursault (born in 1949) and Guy Lefèvre (1931-2004), both Drum teachers and founders of the Emmanuel Boursault School of Drums.

This first book for beginners introduces them to the use of the Snare Drums, developing all necessary basics such as finger positions, theory, sonority, notions of tempo and rhythmic reading.

With Drum Lesson - Vol. 1, the beginner should be prepared to face his first Drums exams and will be provided guidance throughout the book with annotations on how to use each exercise.
