Beschreibung
Jet has once again knocked it out the park with the JT-350 t-style electric guitar, here presented in Butterscotch with SS Alnico Pickups. With a classic ‘50s look, this guitar is phenomenally well spec’d for the price. As with all Jet guitars, it has a silky Roasted Maple neck bolted to a basswood body. The JT350 has additionally been upgraded with Alnico magnet pickups, locking tuning machines and a plateless neck join, features usually seen on guitars costing significantly more. The bone nut ekes every vibration out of the strings, while the 3 Chrome Saddle bridge results in authentic tone. With a lightweight and resonant Basswood body, combined with a Roasted Canadian Maple neck / fretboard, the Jet JT-350 gets off to a very good start. This guitar really has looks to die for, with a rich gloss finish showing off the Butterscotch body and Roasted neck to full effect. Knurled flat top knobs give it a vintage look which complements the caramel hue of the neck and classic Black pickguard. In terms of playing ergonomics, the JT-350 is immediately comfortable for the modern guitarist, coming with a Modern “C”-shaped neck profile and 9.5” radius fretboard. Jet have gone to extra lengths to improve playing comfort, with an extra contour added to the lower body cutaway to ease upper-fret action, as well as a plate-less neck heel. In terms of hardware, the locking tuners are a fantastic feature at the price, while a fixed bridge with three chrome saddles provide authentic tele tone and feel. The bone nut ensures that all vibrations from the strings are transferred to the two Alnico single-coil pickups. These are controlled via volume / tone knobs and 3-way switch layout. The Jet JT-350 in Butterscotch significantly outshoots its price bracket in terms of features and specs. It’ll also appeal to seasoned guitarists and “tweakers” looking for an instrument to tinker with and mod at very little cost. A winner all around.
