The Young Violinist's Repertoire Book 3 has to be the ideal introduction to the literature of the violin. Arranged progressively, it takes the young player from the very early stages to an intermediate standard. In four books music is brought together from all over Europe and from all periods. Altogether, they provide an invaluable source of material and make up an attractive library of simple classics for the learner violinist. This particular part of the series introduces third position. There is piano accompaniment alongside the violin.
