In the last of this series, volume 6 contains pieces of around Grade 8 standard. There are pieces by Dowland, Mudarra, Scarlatti, Sanz, Weiss, Bach, Sor, Coste, Tarrega, Giuliani and Aguado as well as lesser known ones.
Once again there are a few nice surprises with some new, at least to me, names - a very attractive composition of various moods titled Green by Jacques Chandonnet and a lyrical tremolo study by Marc Bélanger.
"Altogether this six-volume series has been a delight to review... The whole set is a model of presentation with clear printing and an attractive front cover. In a guitar world where there are many similar collections such as this, I can thoroughly recommend this series to be as good a choice as any - that is, providing the price is not too steep." (Steve Marsh, Classical Guitar)
